Pharmacist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist to join our team. This position involves working in an inpatient/acute setting supporting various patient types including Emergency Services, Critical Care, NICU, Pediatrics, Adult Medical/Surgical, Oncology, and Outpatient Surgery Centers.

Schedule

• Shift: 11.5-hour nights from 1800 to 0600
• Work Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
• Weekly Hours: 34.5 hours in one week and 46 hours in the next
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacy services and support patient care across all levels of care.
• Practice independently and respond to emergencies, including attending rapid responses and codes.
• Ensure the delivery and management of emergency medication.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient/acute pharmacist experience.
• Current state license in Washington (in hand or proof of application submitted at least 6 weeks ago).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; PALS certification preferred.

Skills Required

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.

Facility Information

This is a Level III Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center and a teaching hospital with a total bed capacity of 226. The facility is recognized as a Level II Cardiac Center and Level II Stroke Center, and operates the second-busiest Emergency Department in the state, along with an off-campus emergency department that includes remote pharmacy coverage.

Any color scrubs are acceptable, with business casual options also available. Hospital-provided scrubs are available.
