Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy department for a six-week assignment. The role will involve working in a de-centralized pharmacist model and collaborating with a team of pharmacy technicians.

Position Details

• Location: City, State
• Unit: Pharmacy
• Number of Beds: 285
• Patient Ratios: To be determined
• Scheduling: Days, evenings, and weekends; rotating shifts

Responsibilities

• Refill Pyxis machines
• Prepare first doses for patients
• Perform IV sterile compounding and non-sterile compounding
• Package unit dose medications
• Answer phones and assist pharmacists as needed
• Refill code blue trays

Qualifications

• Required: Current and active Pharmacist license in good standing in Missouri
• Preferred: Experience with Pyxis ES, Meditech, and Dose Edge systems

Dress Code

Clean scrubs are required.

Additional Information

This position is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with varying day and evening shifts. Weekends are required. No overnight shifts will be needed.
