Retail Pharmacist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our team. This role requires working every other weekend with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. The position is located in a critical access medical facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions provided by healthcare providers.
• Provide direct patient care and medication counseling.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective medication therapy management.
• Maintain accurate patient medication records and manage inventory.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations and protocols.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
