Registered Nurse – Wound Care (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in providing high-quality care to patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for those with wound, ostomy, and continence issues.
• Collaborate with a consulting team to develop specialized care recommendations.
• Utilize Cerner to document patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding wound management and care practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in all nursing practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in wound care nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certification as a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Location

This position is available in a location that is accessible to professionals outside of the immediate area.
