Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOC Nurse)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOC Nurse) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in wound care and ostomy management, along with the required certifications.

Location

This position is available in Northside, GA, with no local candidates within 50 miles.

Schedule

This role requires availability from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in wound care and ostomy management.
• Certification as a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (CWON® or CWOCN®) is mandatory.
• Wound care certification such as WCC, CWS, or CWCN is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) is necessary.
• Ostomy certification is optional but beneficial.

Holiday Expectations

The candidate must be willing to work 2 major holidays out of the following 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Additionally, 1 minor holiday from the following must be covered: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
