Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to patients with wound care needs across various units. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct wound assessments and consultations in collaboration with multiple patient care units.
• Evaluate and manage pressure injuries requiring specialized care.
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans.
• Document patient progress and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Relevant clinical nursing experience is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Wound care certification is preferred, with a plan to achieve certification within a specified timeframe.

Facility Information

This position is based in City, State. All staff are required to maintain up-to-date BLS certification as per policy guidelines.
