Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Trauma ICU at Mission Hospital in Asheville will provide clinical care for trauma patients. The role requires assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and manage critical patients’ care
• Administer IV fluids, tube feeds, and medications
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to address patient needs
• Respond to changes in patient acuity by alerting Charge RN or medical providers

Requirements:

• Telemetry rhythm capabilities
• Critical thinking and time management skills
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
