Job Description:

The RN will be responsible for providing care to medical-surgical overflow patients, including those with conditions such as CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, COPD, isolation, end-of-life/palliative, and postoperative from general surgery. Nurses are expected to titrate drips and read telemetry strips as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide acute care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Titrate Heparin and Cardizem drips
• Read and interpret telemetry strips
• Float as needed
• Participate in a 2-shift orientation program

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• WA or Compact License
