Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse for our Telemetry unit. The position involves caring for patients with varying degrees of acuity, including post-surgical orthopedics/spine cases and patients requiring telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients on the Telemetry unit, ensuring accurate monitoring.
• Manage patients with a 5:1 staffing ratio, supporting diverse medical conditions.
• Administer Heparin drips, TPN, PCA, and interpret telemetry rhythms accurately.
• Float to all acute care units as required.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent experience in ortho/spine and telemetry in a hospital setting.
• Experience with general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics & spine, cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones.
• KS RN or Compact License & BLS certification required.
• Must be familiar with EPIC EMR system.
