Job Description:

The Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) will assist during surgical procedures, providing critical support in a seven-suite operating room with 18-20 cases per day. Responsibilities will include preparing for surgeries, assisting during operations, and coordinating post-operative care using the Cerner EMR system.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during operations and provide surgical site exposure.
• Handle tissue manipulation and suturing under the surgeon’s supervision.
• Coordinate with OR techs and nurses to ensure a sterile and efficient environment.
• Prepare the operating room and instruments for surgery.

Requirements:

• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) via CCI Certificate.
• ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required.
• Current RN license to submit.
