Job Description:

The RN assigned to 2 North Med-Surg is responsible for providing care in telemetry and postoperative settings. The unit consists of 24 beds with a staffing model that includes RNs, LVNs, aides, and a unit clerk during day shifts, with RNs and aides covering night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Daily weights, vital signs, intake/output, hourly rounding, and bedside report
• CBI, cardiac gtt, heparin gtt, phototherapy, wound care, IV starts, discharge/admit own patients, NGT, foley care

Requirements:

• Telemetry experience
• Postop care experience
• BLS, ACLS certifications
