Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous monitoring. This role involves operating and interpreting equipment, documenting patient information, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to Telemetry patients in accordance with established nursing practices and procedures.
• Monitor cardiac and other vital signs, recognizing any significant changes and acting promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Float to all MS/TEL units as part of the Resource Team.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of strong Med/Surg. TELE background preferred.
• Experience with EPIC Charting.
• IL License, BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required.
• Familiarity with working in a resource pool or float environment is preferred.
