Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Telemetry unit. The RN will work in a mixed patient acuity environment, primarily with post-surgical ortho/spine patients and medical/surgical telemetry overflow.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients with various conditions including post-surgical ortho/spine, cellulitis, back pain, and kidney stones.
• Administer Heparin drips, TPN, PCA and interpret telemetry rhythms.
• Float to all acute care units as required.
• Work every other weekend based on unit needs.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent ortho/spine and telemetry experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience with a 5:1 RN ratio.
• Background in General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics & Spine.
• Current KS RN or Compact license & BLS certification required.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system.
