Shift Information

• Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, Floor RNs based on 5:1 ratio, No techs

Equipment

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech / CPN

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care telemetry hospital experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) knowledge
• Experience in large trauma facilities

Typical Responsibilities

• Manage IV drips, perform EKGs, and administer medications
• Manage chest tubes and devices such as pacemakers
