Job Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in a 30-bed Telemetry/Stroke unit, providing quality care for patients with various complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care for patients experiencing chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, and post-cardiac catheterization.
• Provide support and care for stroke patients and those dealing with sepsis.
• Manage care for patients undergoing alcohol and substance withdrawal.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Work Schedule

Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, along with holiday commitments during winter.

Patient Care Ratio

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1, allowing for focused care and attention to each patient.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel nursing required.
• Stroke experience is mandatory for this position.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
