Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the 7N Cardiac Telemetry Unit. This fast-paced environment is ideal for high-energy individuals who value teamwork and provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures.
• Administer medications such as amiodarone and Cardizem drips.
• Care for patients post-cath and those with pacemakers.
• Conduct assessments and documentation using Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• ACLS certification
• Experience with post-cath and stroke patients

Preferred Skills:

• NIH Stroke Scale knowledge

Work Schedule

• 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule.
• Friday and Saturday nights or Saturday and Sunday days.

Dress Code

Grey scrubs for Registered Nurses.

Floating Areas

Occasional floating to other telemetry departments, med-surg, PCU as needed.
