Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in a Level 1 Trauma Center and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Details

• Start Date: October 4
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Schedule: Every Monday, with night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: As needed
• Floating Requirement: May float to Glenbrook, Skokie, or Highland Park

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• New graduates are not accepted

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• Current CPR certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience with Epic software
• Must submit a passed EKG test with a score of 80% or higher

Unit Information

• Capacity: 29 beds
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
• Average Length of Stay: 3-4 days
• Common Diagnoses: Neurosurgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Surgical Overflow, Telemetry/MS

Payroll Information

Payroll is conducted bi-weekly.
