Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team for a 13-week contract. The positions are available in the Med Surg/Tele units, where RNs will provide excellent patient care while adhering to the facility’s standards and protocols.

Job Details

• Shift: 7a-7p, every other weekend and holidays as required
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Multiple locations within the region

Qualifications

• Must possess an ASN degree
• Active nursing license in AL or a Compact License (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; candidates with 18 months of experience may be considered if working under the highest level of professional license
• At least 1 year of experience in Med Surg/Tele specialty
• Ability to pass a Dysrhythmia Basic exam (2 attempts during onboarding)
• Willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed

Additional Information

• Charting System: Meditech
• Nurse-to-patient ratios typically vary from 1:6
• The facility can cancel up to 4 shifts per contract without penalty
• 16 hours of Non-Billable Orientation are required
• Overtime is applicable after 48 hours per week
• Local candidates are welcome with no difference in rate
