Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This position requires a compassionate individual ready to provide high-quality care to patients in a telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: Friday to Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend work is mandatory, with a set schedule every weekend.

Experience Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting.

Experience Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

License and Certification Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Floating Requirements

Applicants should be willing to occasionally float outside their assigned unit based on divisional needs. Potential floating units may include an acute care unit or overflow/surge unit accommodating medical/surgical patients.

Holiday Requirements

Holiday work is required based on unit needs. Employees must work two major holidays selected from the following options:

• Thanksgiving Eve or Day
• Christmas Eve or Day
• New Year’s Eve or Day

Additional Notes

• The facility is a nicotine-free environment.
• Orientation includes attendance at New Employee Orientation (NEO) and training sessions.
• Candidates are required to submit a background check and complete necessary lab work within specified timelines.
