Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule Details

The position is for a 12-hour night shift, from 1845 to 0715. This role includes a rotating weekend requirement of every other weekend and holiday coverage is also expected unless previously requested in time-off requests.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry RN experience is required.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.

Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

Familiarity with Altera Sunrise (formerly known as Allscripts) is not required, as it is noted to be very similar to Cerner.

Additional Requirements

• Floating to other units may be required as needed.
• Orientation consists of a 2-day program followed by clinical orientation, with a mix of computer work and on-the-job training.
• This is a nicotine-free facility.
• Two hours’ notice will be provided if the client decides to cancel a shift within each pay period.
