Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Telemetry is responsible for providing care to patients with complex medical conditions, predominantly related to stroke and neuro cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and response to treatment.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Float to like units and other NorthShore facilities as needed.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Stroke/Neuro experience required.
• 3 years of Telemetry experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must pass an EKG test at the time of application.
