Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in a Stepdown unit. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care during night shifts.

Position Details

• Job Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown unit.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitoring patient conditions and reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educating patients and their families on health management and care protocols.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in nursing, with experience in a Stepdown or similar unit preferred.
• Required Certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS Certification (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Additional Notes

This position requires the ability to float to different units as needed. The Registered Nurse will be expected to fulfill all responsibilities associated with patient care during night shifts.
