Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

This position is primarily for the Respiratory unit, where patients diagnosed with COVID-19 are admitted. The RN may also float to other medical-surgical units as needed, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders. The role requires a commitment to 36 hours per week on the night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend scheduled. There is no on-call duty associated with this position.

Shift Information

Nights: 7 PM – 7:30 AM. Holiday coverage will be required.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of current or recent experience in Telemetry and/or Step Down units.
• Proficient in reading Telemetry. A competency test will be administered on the first day.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN License is required.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR is a must; candidates will not be provided refresher classes or 1:1 training.
