Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac/Telemetry

Job Description

This position involves primarily working in the Cardiac unit while also floating between various Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, and Observation.

Schedule

• 36 hours/week
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend is required
• No on-call requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Administer patient care in the Cardiac/Telemetry unit and associated Med-Surg units.
• Conduct telemetry monitoring, with an ability to accurately interpret telemetry readings.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR is mandatory; candidates must provide documentation of proficiency.
• Must successfully pass competency testing for telemetry interpretation on the first day of employment.

Holiday coverage is required for this position. Candidates should be prepared to contribute positively to the team and offer support across multiple units as needed.
