Job Description:

RN position available in the Inpatient Rehab Unit. The role requires care in a unit with an 18-bed capacity and expected patient ratios of 5-6:1. Interested candidates should have a willingness to learn specialty patient mobilization skills and complete rehabilitation-specific documentation with the provided real-time training resource.

Responsibilities:

• Perform indwelling and straight urinary catheterization, peripheral IV insertions, blood administration, central line dressing changes, wound dressing changes as ordered.
• Conduct surgical drain removal, suture/staple removal, and other medical-surgical nursing procedures as ordered.

Requirements:

• Good attention to detail; willingness to be coached regarding rehabilitation and other required documentation.
• BLS certification required.
• Prefer prior experience with patients in neurological, cardiac, and/or orthopedic adult populations, as well as inpatient (acute) rehabilitation and long-term acute care (LTACH) nursing.
• Prefer 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital in medical-surgical, stepdown critical care, or inpatient rehabilitation nursing.
