Job Description:

Conducts intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history. Plans and provides nursing care for patients and collaborates with healthcare professionals to create treatment plans. Administers medications and monitors patient reactions. Maintains detailed patient records and a safe environment for staff and patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments and gather case history.
• Plan and provide nursing care for patients.
• Make nursing diagnoses and recommend treatment options.
• Consult with psychiatrists and design treatment plans.
• Administer and note reactions to medications.
• Arrange for further medical attention when necessary.
• Assist clients in understanding emotional disturbances.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patients.
• Test for vital signs of pain and ensure treatment.
• Document patient information and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform administrative assignments and respond to service requests.

Requirements:

• CPI Certification
• License (NY License ONLY)
• BLS Certification (AHA) ONLY
• Minimum 2 years experience
