Shift: 8 Hour Mids, 12:00:00-20:00:00, 8hr Eve 3-11:30pm

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Start Date: 08/09/2026

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Psychiatric unit will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to adolescent and young adult patients with low to moderate acuity in a psychiatric acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to psychiatric patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care as necessary
  • Document patient care and report changes to the healthcare team

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in psychiatric acute care
  • IL Nursing License, CPR, CPI certification
  • Experience with Epic systems
  • Ability to float to like units
  • Every other weekend availability
