Job Description:

The Registered Nurse Psychiatric role involves providing care in a psychiatric acute care setting, specifically with adolescent and young adult patients with low to moderate acuity. The position requires flexibility to work varying schedules including evenings and every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in psychiatric acute care settings.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
Coordinate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Ensure patient safety and adherence to care protocols.
Float to like units as necessary.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in psychiatric acute care, with adolescent/young adult patients.
Active Illinois RN License.
CPR and CPI certification required.
Successful submission of a passed EKG test with 80% or higher.
Epic experience required.
