Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health to join our team. This role requires a strong background in psychiatric nursing, with a focus on providing care in an inpatient behavioral crisis stabilization unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the behavioral health unit.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Implement crisis intervention techniques as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing.
• First-time travelers are welcome if they possess 3+ years of psychiatric experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications required.
• Active Montana or compact nursing license.
• Proficiency with Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system preferred.

Patient Demographics

This position involves working with patients aged 18 to 60+ within an inpatient setting.

Location

This role is located in a behavioral health unit within a facility situated in Montana.
