Job Description:
This role involves providing nursing care in a Pre-Op Holding/ASU unit, focusing on preparing patients for surgery and recovery. The position requires collaboration with a team of RNs and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Phase 2 recoveries of Urology, GYN, and other SDS patients
- Pre-op Surgery, Endo, Cath lab, EP, CT patients, outpatient infusions, outpatient EKGs, blocks, blood transfusions
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care Pre-Op RN Hospital experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Some pre-op experience or ability to assist pre-op staff preferred
- Prior Meditech experience preferred
