Floor: 3rd floor

General Information:

• Number of Beds: 23
• Number of Staff: Approximately 80 staff members on mom/baby
• Patient Ratios: Estimated 3 or 4:1
• Type of Equipment: Main computer system – CPN
• EMR: Meditech / CPN

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital experience in Postpartum or Mother/Baby
• BLS & NRP certifications

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a Mother/Baby Unit
• Flexibility with scheduling
• Ability to adapt quickly to new situations

Unit Responsibilities

• Monitoring vital signs and administering medications
• Managing perineal care
• Educating parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding
