Job Description:

Registered Nurse position in the PICU responsible for providing critical care to pediatric patients, ages 0-18, including those requiring intensive care services, with varied diagnoses from respiratory illness to trauma.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care through physical assessment and monitoring.
• Administer medications and evaluate patient symptoms and vital signs.
• Educate patients and families on the plan of care.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system proficiently.
• Titrate drips and care for mechanically ventilated patients.

Requirements:

• 1.5 years of PICU RN experience.
• BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications.
• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing and registered with the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
