Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, first to float, every other weekend

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The Pediatric/MST unit is a mixed unit treating both adult and pediatric patients. The Registered Nurse will care for patients with varied conditions, including surgical and medical cases, and must be willing to care for both adult and pediatric patients. The role requires floating to the MST unit when census on the pediatric/MST unit drops.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care for both adult and pediatric patients.
• Float to the MST unit and care for adult MST patients as needed.
• Assist in stabilizing patients for transfer if necessary.

Requirements:

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience working with children is required.
• Ability to read Tele strips for adult MST patients.
