Pediatric Operating Room Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Operating Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in circulating various pediatric surgical cases and a passion for providing exceptional care to young patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate a variety of pediatric cases, including but not limited to ENT, general surgery, orthopedic procedures, and urology.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high standards of patient safety and care.
• Monitor and assess patients during surgeries and provide necessary interventions.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience is required.
• Current Washington State or compact RN license and BLS certification are required.
• Experience with pediatric congenital conditions, medical conditions, and injuries is essential.
• Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is preferred.

Schedule and Shift Information

This position offers various shift options, including:

• 12-hour Day Shift: 0645 – 1915
• 12-hour Night Shift: 1845 – 1715
• 8-hour Night Shift: 2245 – 0715

Weekend rotations are not required. Call and holiday participation are optional.

Additional Information

Scrub colors will be provided, and there is no floating required between departments. The position involves working in an environment with 8 operational rooms, focusing on delivering quality care to pediatric patients.
