Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

The role involves providing nursing care and support in a pediatric surgical setting. Qualified candidates will be responsible for circulating a variety of pediatric cases, including but not limited to ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, and urology. This position is focused on delivering high-quality care to children with congenital conditions, medical issues, and injuries.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate pediatric surgical cases in various specialties including ENT, general, orthopedic, and urology.
• Assess and monitor patients’ conditions pre-operatively and post-operatively.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and maintain effective communication throughout surgical procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), preferably with Epic experience.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in the operating room.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Washington State or a compact RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience in circulating pediatric cases is essential.

Work Schedule

Shifts offered include:

• 12-Hour Day Shift: 0645 – 1915
• 12-Hour Night Shift: 1845 – 1715
• 8-Hour Night Shift: 2245 – 0715

Additional Information

• Weekend rotation and floating to other units are not required.
• On-call and holiday duties are optional.
• Scrub colors will be provided.
• The facility operates with 8 operating rooms.
