Pediatrics-Primary Care RN

Shift: AM 5 × 8 hr shifts × 40 hrs/week, 8 hrs per shift, 8 Hour Days, 08:00:00-16:00:00, 8.00-5; Schedule: Monday off, Tuesday, Thursday: 10:30-7pm, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30-5, Saturday 7:30-3

Job Description:

Primary care RN is responsible for helping with nurse visits, medication administration, sick visits, and patient telephone calls. The role also includes assisting with updating Letters of Medical Necessity, medication refills, result notification, and post-hospital follow-up visit scheduling. The RN will float between two primary care pediatrics clinics based on needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nurse visits, manage medication administration, and handle sick visits.
• Support patient communication, including telephone calls.
• Update Letters of Medical Necessity and manage medication refills.
• Notify patients of results and schedule post-hospital follow-up visits.
• Float between two clinic locations as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in primary care pediatrics.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficient in vaccine administration, venipuncture, nebulizer treatments, and medication administration.
• Knowledge of equipment including nebulizer, dinamap, thermometer, manual BP, oxygen tank, nasal cannula, and oxygen mask.
