Pediatric Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Pediatric Infusion Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive care through various pediatric specialty services, including infusions and procedural care such as chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody administration, blood product administration, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy. We are seeking a qualified Pediatric Infusion Registered Nurse who can excel in a dynamic environment.

Schedule

This position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There are no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer infusions and procedural care to pediatric patients.
• Maintain excellent prioritization and communication with patients and families.
• Demonstrate strong IV skills and experience with IV Access Devices (IVADs) and ports.
• Adapt to the changing needs of the Pediatric Infusion Center effectively.

Qualifications

• Current RN License in New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in pediatrics.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification.
• Certification from the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) preferred.
