Job Description:

The RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will be responsible for managing the care of patients undergoing cardiovascular and surgical services. The department utilizes various equipment such as Philips Cardiac Monitors, Telemetry systems, and Cerner EMR. The nurse will be expected to float to ICU and MS/Tele as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Acute care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and surgical services.
• Utilize equipment including Philips Cardiac Monitors, Telemetry, and EMR systems.
• Float to ICU and MS/Tele as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year PCU experience.
• EKG knowledge and skills in IV Cardiac Medication administration.
• Active in good standing AZ license and ACLS/BLS certifications.
• Ability to perform peritoneal dialysis, manage chronic vents, chest tubes, and epidural catheters.
