Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Unit Staffing: Includes tech support
• Type of Equipment: Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, Telemetry, Bladder Scanner, Doppler
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: 3 shifts per week; 3-4 weekend shifts
• Floating Policy: Agency and contract staff may be floated to areas where they have demonstrated competency.

Patient Experience Requirements

Experience in Telemetry and Stroke care is essential.

Qualifications

• Requested Skill Set: Cardiac drips, telemetry, and neurology experience
• Must Have: NIHSS, Stroke experience, ACLS certification
• Advanced Skills Needed: Cardiac drips, basic dysthymia
• Certifications Required: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS

Dress Code

Uniform: Navy Blue scrubs are required.
