Job Description:

The RN in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPC) will provide care for patients undergoing CV surgery and vascular surgery, including open heart surgery, thoracic surgery, and related procedures. This role requires monitoring patients, managing various treatment protocols, and maintaining a high standard of care.

Responsibilities:

• Epidural management
• Chest tube management
• Tube feedings
• IV gluccomander
• Cardiac gtt management (phenylephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinone, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, heparin, nitroglycerin, ketamine)

Requirements:

• Stepdown experience
• Telemetry experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
