Job Description:

The role involves working in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care unit primarily focusing on CV surgery and vascular surgery patients. Responsibilities include managing patients who have undergone procedures such as open heart surgery, thoracic lung surgery, and other related surgeries. The nurse will also handle overflow medical cardiology patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Epidural management
  • Chest tube management
  • Tube feedings
  • IV gluccomander
  • Cardiac gtt management

Requirements:

  • Stepdown experience
  • Telemetry experience
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
