Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse) – PCU

City/State: Omaha, Nebraska

Shift: 12-hour days, 07:00-19:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 08/03/2026

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), specializing in oncology and trauma cases. The RN will perform clinical functions including monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and providing instructions and education to patients and families.

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to PCU and MedSurg patients including oncology and trauma cases.
Administer and titrate medications including chemotherapy, heparin, and cardizem.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers.
Participate in hourly rounding and document patient care in the EPIC system.
Float to MedSurg and PCU units as needed.

Requirements:

Active RN license.
Minimum of 1 year of PCU and oncology experience.
ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required.
ONS/ONCC certification preferred.
Driver’s license required; candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
Orientation pass/fail exam requiring a 90% pass rate.
