Job Description:

The RN in this position will work in the Cardiovascular Progressive Care (CVPC) unit, focusing on cardiac and vascular surgery patients, including open heart and thoracic surgeries. Responsibilities also include managing overflow medical cardiology patients.

Responsibilities:

• Epidural management
• Chest tube management
• Tube feedings
• IV gluccomander
• Cardiac gtt management (phenylephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, milrinone, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, heparin, nitroglycerin, ketamine)

Requirements:

• Stepdown experience
• Telemetry experience
• ACLS and BLS Certifications
