Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro Stepdown unit responsible for providing care to patients with neurological conditions. The RN will work on a unit with 8 stepdown beds, managing a patient ratio of 4:1, and collaborate with a team that includes techs and a unit secretary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on the Neuro Stepdown unit with high standards of nursing practice and safety.
• Perform bedside shift reports, personal connections, and participate in daily huddles.
• Manage equipment such as Vapotherm, Bipap, Trachs, and titrating cardiac drips.

Requirements:

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong nursing skills in Acute Care and Neuro Stepdown with stepdown experience preferred.
• Proficient in Meditech documentation system.
• Excellent critical thinking skills.
