Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for PCU Oncology unit, caring for adult oncology and trauma PCU patients in Omaha, Nebraska. The position requires management of various drips and medications, including chemotherapy, and providing high-quality patient care through collaboration with a diverse healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for adult oncology and trauma PCU patients
• Titrate Insulin and Cardizem drips as needed
• Administer common medications including Heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix
• Perform hourly rounding and conduct bedside shift reports
• Monitor and manage patients using high-flow respiratory equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of PCU experience required; Oncology experience preferred
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; Chemo Certification preferred
• Ability to float to other Med/Surg and PCU units as needed
• Must pass an open book exam on skills during orientation with a minimum score of 90%
• Prohibition of artificial nails in patient care areas
