Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU specializing in Oncology and Trauma with a patient ratio of 1:5-6 at night. Must pass an open-book exam during orientation with a 90% score. A preference for chemotherapy certification exists, but it is not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care to adult oncology and trauma patients in a 28-bed mixed unit
  • Float to Med/Surg and other PCU units as needed
  • Occasionally titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in oncology and PCU
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Adherence to no artificial nails policy in patient care areas
