Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit will provide specialized nursing care requiring advanced skills and knowledge. This unit focuses on cardiac care, including post-cath and thoracic surgery support, while ensuring high-quality and safe patient services are delivered effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients undergoing post-cath procedures and thoracic surgeries.
• Manage equipment such as transport monitors, suction, and feeding pumps.
• Conduct and interpret neurovascular checks and post-operative care for vascular surgeries.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU hospital experience.
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications.
