Job Description:

The RN will provide care for patients in the PCU/IMC Float unit. The position requires floating within Zone 1 facilities including Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, and others, with responsibilities including managing cardiac drips and handling adult to geriatric patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in multiple PCU/IMC units covering various specialties
• Float within Zone 1 facilities and adapt to different unit requirements
• Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and additional medications
• Participate in scheduling and fulfill weekend and holiday rotation requirements

Requirements:

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
• Ability to float and work in varied acuity levels, including ICU and MS-Tele
