Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule, MUST FLOAT within Zone 1

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The RN (Registered Nurse) is responsible for providing professional nursing care on a PCU/IMC float unit. This role requires flexibility to float within Zone 1 and manage different acuity levels, including ICU, PCU/Stepdown, & MS-Tele units.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care following PCU/IMC protocols
• Float between units within the designated zone as needed
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in PCU/IMC
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac, neuro, and ortho procedures preferred
• Proficiency in using the EPIC charting system preferred
• Must be comfortable with titrating multiple drips including dopamine and insulin
