Job Description:

The RN will work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) focused on oncology and trauma patient care. The role requires managing patient care for complex conditions, occasionally titrating drips such as insulin and cardizem, while maintaining compliance with facility policies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients in oncology and trauma PCU settings
• Adhere to established patient care protocols and guidelines
• Titrate drips as necessary, such as insulin and cardizem
• Float between MedSurg and PCU units as required
• Participate in ongoing team coordination and support efforts

Requirements:

• Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting
• Chemotherapy certification preferred, not required
• Ability to pass a skills exam with a 90% score
• Compliance with fingernail policy; artificial nails prohibited
