Job Description:

The PCU nurse will care for adult oncology and trauma PCU patients in a unit with 18 beds. The role involves managing patients requiring chemotherapy, titrating drips such as Insulin and Cardizem, and occasionally floating to other Med/Surg and PCU units.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care in an 18-bed PCU Oncology unit
• Titrate chemotherapy, Insulin, Heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix drips
• Participate in bedside shift reports and hourly rounding
• Self-schedule based on unit needs and work every other weekend

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic EMR and Alaris IV Pumps
• Compliance with nail policy prohibiting artificial nails
