Job Title: RN – K7 PCU (Progressive Care Unit)

Job Description:

This position is for a Registered Nurse on the K7 Progressive Care Unit (PCU) which has 44 beds. The RN will work in a team-focused environment providing Neuro and Trauma Care, with a patient ratio of 4/1 at grid and 5/1 stretched.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on medical and health needs.
• Perform neuro and spinal checks and manage various devices such as PCA pumps, chest tubes, and patient lifts.
• Assist with procedures such as C-Collar placement, TLSO braces, and feeding tube placements.
• Administer blood transfusions and manage IV infusions.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in Neuro and Trauma Care
• Ability to work as a team player and maintain a patient-focused approach
