Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse with PCU experience for a Med/Tele unit. The position requires the ability to read and interpret cardiac strips. The nurse will provide care for adults and geriatrics with cardiac conditions and other acute or chronic conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care with a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio, occasionally 5-6 on nights.
• Titrate drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips and manage both portable and room monitors.
• Assist as needed across PCU, Medical-Surgical, and Emergency Room boarding areas.

Requirements:

• Active RN license with PCU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac care; Epic charting preferred.
• Must be willing to work every other weekend and adhere to floating requirements.
